We Can … Do Lots of Things!

This week all the children at Busy Bees have been exploring all the different things that they can do by themselves. All seven areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage have been covered, as there are plenty of things the children can do by themselves! For Physical Development the children have been jumping on the trampoline, running races wit their friends and holding their pencils correctly for writing. Personal, Social and Emotional Devleopment has been covered by the children showing that they can share with their friends. For Communication and Language the children have been using full sentences, expanding their vocabulary and listening well at circle times. The children have taken part in lots of different activities which have show them how independent they can be, and that it is okay to give things a go!

Next week we will be looking at the theme of Harvest. This children will look at the change in season, and how we look after crops at this time of year. Each class will also be holding a ‘Can-Drive’ to donate to the local community. This teaches the children the importance of helping other less fortunate than ourselves, as well as what community spirit means!

Today is Miss Kylie’s last day at Busy Bees and we wish her the best of luck for the future, and we hope that she comes to see us all soon!
