What a fun-filled term we have had! We started back in September with a few changes to the classrooms and they have gone down a treat!
This week all the children at Busy Bees have been exploring all the different things that they can do by themselves. All seven areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage have been covered.
This week the topic of learning has been ‘bees’, and it has certainly kept us busy! We have learnt about the different parts of the bee, the jobs that they do and how they live.
This is week’s theme has been one of our favourites so far! We have been focusing on our favourite food and have done so many activities based around this.
With Spring well underway we have noticed some lovely changes on our farm! All the animals are loosing their winter coats and the vegetables and plants are having a growth spurt.
This week we have been learning all about calculating, taking part in various activities to help us learn this very important skill, using all areas of the nursery and farm to help us.
As another fun week at Busy Bees comes to a close we are very proud of our children! All week we have been discussing different occupations and what we would like to be when we grow up.
So the first week of the new term is over, and what a week it has been! They children have taken part in lots of different activities to encourage them to eat healthily, as well as understanding the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.
So we have reached the end of the Easter Break, and what fun we have had! The children have been taking part in lots of different activities in the three different classes.
